We have today activated the live news and offers section on www.Resort-Guide.co.uk. It will now be possible for all of our site Gold Members to to add an extra page to their site entry to promote any news, offers, late availability, special breaks etc that they may be running.

The offers page can contain up to 250 words of text and two extra images in addition to the image already showing on the www.Resort-Guide.co.uk members entry. When adding an offer businesses will be able to define the offer type by 15 different criteria ( more to come), such as "Late Availability", "Special Breaks", "Christmas & New Years Breaks" etc. The criteria selected will be clearly flagged up against both your listing and full entry on www.Resort-Guide.co.uk which will help drive visitors to your web site.

We are very aware that for businesses in the hospitality sector time is always critical. For this reason we have endeavoured to make the process of adding an offer as quick and easy as possible. All your basic contact details will have been pre-enterred for you, all you'll need to do is type in an offer title, your offer description, select from the list of different offer themes available and select the date you want your offer to run from and the number of days you want it to run. The whole process can be completed in less than one minute!

Links to the offer listings have been added throughout www.Resort-Guide.co.uk.  Whenever a site visitor is on a destination page or listing, if offers are available in that destination, they will  see a link taking them to the list of offers for that area.

We will be contacting our Gold Members over the course of the next two to three weeks with instructions on how to access their offer's management page in order to set up a news or offers page and maintain it.

If you have not yet heard from us and are anxious to get your establishments details running online just give us a call on 01305 830292 or e mail offers@getawaydigital.com and we'll get you set up within an hour or so. You'll then be free to add your news and offers to the site whenever and as often as you wish during the period of your site membership.

There will be no extra charge over and above the cost of your 12 months BGM membership fee for this service. We will shortly be publishing details of how you will also be able to link to an unbranded version of your offers page direct from your own web site which will allow many of our members who are currently unable to modify their own sites to still provided their lates news and offers to their own web site visitors.

When viewing a listing of offers users will always have the option of refining their search for offers to either a county or a destination. They will only be given search options for counties or destinations in which offers are available. The offers on the lists are sorted by the latest offer first. The more often you return to your management section and add a new offer the more you'll appear at the top of the list.

Your specials offers page will clearly state your business name and theme of your offer. All your contact details will be automatically added to it to encouraging the reader to either e mail or visit your web site to find out more. When in your management section you will be able to see how many times the offer has been viewed.

When browing through listings on www.Resort-Guide.co.uk entries that have special offers associated with them will be clearly maked with the theme of the offer available.
